Rear Axle / Wheel Bearing Removal Question

Rear Axle / Wheel Bearing Removal Question
After many hours of searching and printing guides. I think I am still missing a step. After trying to press off the ABS collar and ABS rotor last night with make shift ideas. I started thinking....(after getting some sleep)
Should the ABS collar and ABS rotor come off first via cutting shiselling or pressing before the "Special Tool" can be used. All my time spent trying to press the axle out in 1 shot will not work unless the snap ring is removed prior to pressing.
From looking at it it appears to be in this order
A) ABS lock collar
B ABS rotor
C) Snap Ring
D Bearing Lock Collar
E Wheel Bearing
Is my theory correct? Can someone confirm this?
I have my 3rd member coming back from ZUK and my 4Runner has been laid up for a few weeks and this renal car is killing my finances.....
Any tips, tricks, or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
John

The first lock collar and abs ring need to be pressed off first. Then remove the snap ring. Then press the axle out of the next lock collar and bearing. Just remember exactly how far the first collar is from the bearing as the axle seal rides on it. If it is off, you will have a major gear oil leak. It might be worth it to take your axle over to a shop who knows toyotas and have them press everything for you so you dont need to worry about it
