88 toy with 3" body lift.lets see some ideas on raising the winch to match the body.

 

A buddy of mine built a cradle that cept it real close to the rad. and just under the grill. I think he notched the bumper and grill, but it was real discrete. I wished i had pics.

I raised the bumper that my winch is attached to 2" when I went from 1" to 3" body lift. Didn't really take any pictures of the project, since the bracket changes were added to my front spring hanger drop. I may raise it some more if I get motivated, I changed winch models and now can go up higher w/o hitting the grill in front.

 

Make longer front bumper mounts that raise up with the 3" body lift...and cut into the front grill if you want the winch in nice and tight...that is what I'm going to do, cut the grill up a bit so the winch will fit in nice and tight.

 

I forgot to mention that it is a Warn combo kit.

 

So what does that mean?
