Exclamation Quick Deckplate question - help!

Hey everyone,

I just wrapped up the deckplate mod...and as soon as I started it up, the check engine light came on. Is this normal? Do I have to pull a fuse to reset something?

I did use sensor safe silicone. It had dried for about 2 hrs before I re-installed everything. Maybe I didn't wait long enough? Man, I hope I didn't royally screw something up!

DOH** Nevermind, I pulled the EFI fuse and that seemed to take care of it.

Sounds to me like you possible left the MAF unplugged and accidently turned the ignition on.

Pulling the EFI fuse for 30 secs ( or so ) will reset the memory of the computer.

Good Work.

Yeah thanks Jay, I guess I was a little too quick to panic over that one! I'm really loving my new mod. I think the next one on tap will be Dr. Z's silencer removal mod.
