Ive been fighting it for eons. I dont recall ever having the issue till I switched to 16" wheels and tires (265's) from cruddy more road friendly all terrain 31's on 15's. I have 16" mickey thompson wheels that are maybe 1/2-1" more offset to the outside of the wheel well and the tire size is literally not that much different. Ive wanted to buy different tires but the cost is just way to high to play around with and they still have a heck of alot of tread left. I suppose i could play musical tires and find a radial pull but ffs I dont get it. They arent cheap tires either-bridgestone dueler revos that are like 200/ea!

Then again, my truck I know one of the pistons of my right caliper is def locked up b/c once everything warms up I can nail the brakes and it goes left. But ive replaced the damn calipers like 6x already with various different makes-they all eventually lock up, OEM is 300/ea and Im not spending that for them to lock up. Thought it was perhaps the sandy soil in the area or using stop squeal you spray on the pads but IDK. The pins honestly never seem to last even if I lube them and Ive tried everything-its a bad design.

It also seems to want to turn harder to the right and I know I have a power steering leak (its the pump shaft) and had the steering box replaced 2x now. At one point I took it to a shop and they declared the control arm bushings were done in the lower arms and the uppers were so so. But they realized that the bushings were messing with the alignment cams and when you hit the brakes vs the gas everything was moving.

I kinda wanna dump the truck and get an older tundra or a silverado but cant afford it right now. Im going to at least change the calipers and see wtf is up.

I hope that you can get it solved. I've heard that the control arm bushings can be an issue on these trucks as well and are a bit of a pita to change. I belive there is an aftermarket bushing which is much better but I can't remember the name of the company off hand.

I had my lower ones down, but the uppers I decided not to do as they were pretty good. Total PITA to do b/c they need to be pressed out, replacement arms are not of the same metal thickness either so they are a no go.

Honestly once I do my brake calipers I hope it cures it.

Did you replace with stock bushings or go with aftermarket ones? My buddy had to torch his out since he didn't have a press...

have you tried rotating the tires from one side to the other? a competent shop should be able to figure that out very easily. they have wheel balance machines that can detect tire pull. and i would get a second opinion on the alignment from someone who knows what they are doing. before they even put the heads on the wheels, a good tech will give the suspension a good look over to make sure there are no worn components.

just a guess without looking at it but you could check the main steering components. on my 83 the pitman arm is a little loose at the connection and it causes my truck to pull left.

In my case I had several shops already look at it. They cant find anything wrong, the one shop checked all sorts of stuff like the frame, suspension, steering, etc. They couldnt find anything bad but perhaps a steering box and my front lower arm bushings so they replaced and alignment just to be sure. But when i went to another shop I watched the mechanic align it-EVERY spec was out, like WAY WAY OUT. The other shop told me they didnt do print outs..now I know why. However if anything else was bad Im sure they woulda gouged me. I knwo the alignments good b/c I drove for 3 weeks and had it rechecked at same guy whofound all specs out of whack.

I need calipers, front rights locking up, but this is like the 6th set.. Im not sure why but they always lock up after awhile. its usually 1 of the 4 pistons. Once I do that Ill delve deeper, but if I can find something else its gone.
