made some progress today. install the efi igniter on to the 85 4runner. then removed some carb smog stuff. Plus i installed the harmonic balancer today on the new engine i got. Had to break out the blue wrench to get the bolt off.

 

well today i got the dash and engine wiring harness outta the 87. Then i got the 85's dash out today. and i installed the 87 computer into the 85. So far it's going great. I'll have a speedo with a rpm gauge and also have a tilt-meter. What i did for the wiring is grab a sharpie and labeled each connector. For exapmle 1A-1A. It's going to make wiring the thing so much easier. I also discovered that the heater box wiring different so i started unbolting the '87 h-box so. I don't have to do any hack&splicing wiring. The key is to take your time and label stuff. i started at 3:30 and got done at 7:00 not bad for 4 hrs work it was getting dark so i figured to call it a day
