PreRunner front suspension same as 4Runner?

PreRunner front suspension same as 4Runner?
I've been looking at a few pics and I think they are, I'll as to be sure. Are the front suspensions of the 4Runner and a PreRunner the same. For instance, could I use a 1" front lowering kit for a 3rd gen 4 on a Pre? (this will certainly help as I scavage the salvage yards for spare parts <evile laff >)
