So I have a 98 Tacoma Limited and had someone break my passenger mirror it removed the glass and mount from the mirror leaving me with the motor exposed. These mirrors are not made anymore and they are chrome, power and smaller than the newer mirrors on the 01-04 trucks. My question is can I get mirrors off of the 01-04 Limited and will they fit my truck I know the doors are the same for the most part, K Source makes the 70039T which shows they fit a 2000-2004 models which would mean they should fit my 98 as the body of the 2000 is the same. Can anyone confirm my suspicion?

So I have ordered mirrors for the 2000-2004 tacoma limited since I am assuming that the bolt patterns are the same. Especially since the 2000 and 98 are the same body. i will inform when I get them if i had to modify them. hopefully all i would have to do is modify the wiring.

So I got in the new mirrors and they are plug and play took me ten minutes to replace both mirrors. They will take a little getting used to due to the increased size and having the passenger mirror again. Only difference between the old and new ones are that the new ones have studs and include the nuts for them. Makes my truck look like the 2000 Tacoma Limited now.
