"Corey" (an admin/forum owner here) has the online article that most of us go by, and he swears by the PC 7335/7336 random orbital. Tomstin points to the 7424 which is the same body/mechanics as the 7335 but comes with the polishing pads as stock.

I picked up the one with the polishing pad from Lowe's a few weeks ago. Model 7336SP. It was the same price for the one I got as any other place online. Or the one without the pad no less. I wouldn't recomend using the pad that comes with it on your truck though. Maybe bumpers or something like that would work. I used the PC buffer for the first time this past weekend on my brother's black truck and it worked great. Nice and easy. No more sore arms from doing it by hand. My brother used the pad that came with it and some metal polish on his toolbox. It worked good for that. I bought the other pads from Meguiar's.
