I am creating a site here soon and have a section to explain the history and options avaiable for each year 4runner. I would like some pictures to help show the changes over the years if anyone could post there pix to use on my site that would be great 84-2005. Let me know too if you would like me to link your picture to your site if you got one...THANKS

You can email em to me too if you would like @ Dan.Hofmeister@mindspring.com also I am in high need for some early pics i.e. Pre 4Runner, Trekkers and early Pick-ups (right before the 4Runner 79-83) engine pics are very welcome too 22RE, 22R, 20R 22RET, 3VZE and so on.. Thanks agian!!!

84 4runner it has the SR5 trim package (tach, tilt gauge, power steering, rear heater, but no A/C and it has the older style 22r, which now is fuel injected)

Ideally I would like to get at least one stock pic for each year but would like to add in some pictures showing them modified as well. So feel free to post away.

I would think if you're putting together a history site, you'll want stock pics.
I have quite a few - 85 std cab SR5 4x4, 85 4Runner, 85 Xtracab SR5 4x4 for sure. Some others.
I'll dig them out and send them.

Well if you are looking to get stock pics, Im sure people can help you out.
For starters, here is a 97 (96-98 same) SR5 bone stock, oak interior, 5sp w/4.1 and no locker ... 4WD, R/heat and all that except no sunroof or leather. This is an example of the SR5 without the fender flares or running boards.

my 92 just after i bought it, (doesnt look like this now though)

I suppose one of the front (were the most diff is between 2nd and 3rd gen)
complete with bent bumper
