You know its funny, I have never seen a 4runner that has the same color, but I see plenty of old pickups...it boggles me! But then again, it's rare that I do see a 1st gen, it saddens me...

Talking Wahooo!

It's great to see another first gen on this site!!! And especially one as sweet lookin as yours They do seem to be more scarce these days, so keep it up and running . BTW, I looked and looked for the exact same color, always liked the toyo tan scheme, but never found it.... a little green wit envy here:alien: .

Come to Colorado, 1st Gens are plentiful A couple of us took a hike last weekend. Driving up to the trail head and back down, we must of saw at least 10 or so first gen 4runners. They go for a premium here in colorado

Acually, it helps that the guy I bought it from ran a detailing shop
But I try not to beat the hell out of her! Thanks for all the positive comments guys. Yeah I do love the tan color scheme, however, when wheelin, the dust always makes the brown interior look odd...I always have people writing on the dash with their fingernails

Kev: yeah the wheeling shot I acually took in the winter over in Redmond, at the legal *cough*LYING*cough* service roads up at Novelty Hill!

I like the b&w pic too. Nice rig!

Actually there are alot of nice rigs on here. They just make me feel lucky to be part of the club!

I wish someone would take all these candid owner pics and make a Toyota owners coffee table book... would anyone be interested in that?

Anyway, I love the 1st gen. Thanks for the pics!

With iPhoto you can get a bunch of images together and it will automaticly send everythign to a printer and they will print and send the book to you. Pretty neat. Let me know if anyone is interested. I'd make some. Don't know what the cost is, let me know if your interested.

I was actually thinking of something a bit more polished. Not to offend anyone! But with a special layout and text, good quality binding and hardcover.
Also, something beyond the 72dpi web images---of more "print quality" images and text to go along with it.

I don't know if you've seen the photo promo books the auto makers put out for new models they are especially proud of. They hire pro photographers, do up a really beautiful book as a great keepsake for owners and fans.

I don't mean to go that far but something special for yotatech!
