i forgot the dealer said that the rotors just passed,same with the pads. but they should be replaced when the calipers are done, maybe the mto guy will make them do them anyways

Im glad you called the MTO this guy is going to get screwed.

 

that runner had to have been sitting for a while to have both ebrake cables and both front calipers to be siezed. I had to replace one on my previous toy and it pulled like crazy to one side when i would brake. It's deffinetly a wierd coincidence. Good luck with the repairs. To anyone buying a used car, arrange to have a mechanic look at it before you buy it. It can save you big time!

 

Sounds like you have it under control. That dealer is in for a heep of trouble. Not to mention the shop that did the safety will more than likely lose there inspection license.

 

well the mto guy came in and said that the capilers,rotors and pads all need to be replaced plus the e brake cables. everything is now fixed, the dealer paid for everything. the mto didn't tell me what was going to happen to the place that did the safety, but said they would be dealt with.
