Question Perf. Prod. Progressive UP or DOWN? *INSTALLED*

Hey guys,

I am planning on installing my PP Progressive Rate springs today on my 1995 LTD 4x4.

DOES THE PROGRESSIVE RATE SIDE GO UP OR DOWN????

I am sure once I look at the spring cup I will have an idea....

Here's a link that shows the progressive side down.

http://www.truckinssuv.com/tech/0108suv_level/

I have always understood that the progressive side goes UP??

Thanks,

Mike

That link's no good. I'll go look at mine to see how they are on there. Is the progressive side where the windings are closer together?

Prog Side

Cebby,

The Progressive side should be the wider windings.... Anyway, just look at the UP/DOWN side of the wider windings...

Check your PM....

Thanks,

Mike

Ps. the link should be good, if not cut and past to the url box...
(i just tried it from the post)

Hmmm

The link is working for me now. Maybe my flux capacitor is on its way out...

Mine are installed like the pic in the link. Here's a few pics of what they'll look like in 5 years or so:

Wider windings at the bottom on mine...

Thanks

Cebby,

That was most helpful!!

Then I got to see you BPVS bracket in the bottom picture...

Mine came with the bracket too.

I will have to check and see if the Antilock line needs a bracket.

COOL STUFF.............

Now I'll get those puppies installed!!!

Thanks again,

Mike

Ps. Check your pm.

I'm not sure which way they go, but they only go one way, and you'll see what I'm talking about when you do the install.

Another pic

I had one more pic that might show some more "stuff", but i can't get on Monty Pics for some reason right now to retrieve it. I'll try later. Anyone else on Montypics ever had a problem? This is my first problem getting on there in 3 months or so.
