Paint stripping

Greeetings,

I want to strip the silver paint off the cladding on my '97 4Runner Limited. Does anyone know a good brand of paint stipper that won't ruin the plastic? I might repaint later, if the bare plastic cladding looks bad with my car.

Thanks!

The bare plastic is going to look terrible.
Paint over it!

Have you used this SEM bumper stripper before? After I use it, will the cladding look like flat, black plastic cladding on most SUV's? That's the look I'm hoping the paint stripping will give me.
