Oxygen Sensor

i was thinking of replaceing my Oxygen Sensor on my 93 pickup 22re 4x4 i found some oem dreict replacements for $126 why the hell do they cost so much and who has that kindda money layin around

I just put in the universal Bosch O2 sensor about 9 months ago and it works great! You just have to make sure you wire it correctly. I saved a ton of money on buying the universal one instead of the oem one.

$126?!?!?!?! That must be one HE!! of an 02 Sensor!!

I got mine for my 2nd gen Runner for about 80 bucks from the stealer.

toyota uses a narrow band O2 sensor ? most vehicles do but i want to make sure.

Seems like 4crawler knows of some place that sells OEM Denso's for $40 or so...don't remember where...try emailing him.

I just bought a knock sensor off of ebay for my 3.0. I paid $15 for it, I hope it works cause its gonna be a pain in the buttocks to put in.

i found one at sparkplugs.com for $68.25 its a denso dreict fit for 89 22re will this work ? o and should i get a set NGK IX iridium $6.95 each

Have you searched on this subject and seen the post about micro grounding the knock sensor?? I can't recall fully but the fix was to either micro ground the head or the sensors harness. Solved the knock sensor fault.
The reason I ask is I'm in the same boat on my Runner. I think I'm goina try the grounding mod before attempting the sensor replacement. I'll just have to refind that thread before doin' it though as it was a month or so ago that I read it and I'm not exactly sure what forum it was on.

will i found a oem type from ngk at sparkplugs.com for $ 38 its for a 90 pickup looks like it will work best part no cutting just plug it in get back to me if u dont think it will work not goin to get a new cat hate the smell of rotten eggs/sulfur

so u have to break in new Oxygen Sensor any have to do this or will it be fine if i bolt it in and drive it like that

well im goin to have to get one at napa i took mine out dam thing is the stock one that came with the truck 162,000 on it guess toyota makes things to last lol
