overnightautoparts.com sucks!!....rant

Two weeks ago I ordered my Airaid MIT and Trueflow filter from overnightautoparts.com. I never recieved any confirmation email, tracking number or anything. Last Tuesday I got home from work and my air filter was sitting on the front porch but no MIT tube. The packing slip only showed the air filter and the fedex box it in came only showed there being 1 box shipped. So I waited until Thursday then called to see what was going on. They told me their records showed it being shipped but they were going to check with their warehouse and contact me in 24 to 48 hours and let me know what was going on.

So here we are 5 days later and I still haven't heard anything so I call back this morning. Now they are acting like I never called last week and tell me the same line of BS. This time they say they will have to check with there warehouse, which will take 2-3 business days, and if they show that it was shipped they will have to file a claim with FedEx which will take and additional 7-10 business days.

I've bought a pretty good bit of stuff from different online vendors and retailers and this is by far the worst experience I've had with one. I guess thats what I get for trying to save a few bucks rather than ordering from someone with a good rep like JasonB.

Yeah, that's why I always support the forum vendors or just shop at a reputable place. Too many things can go wrong now, since any joe-schmoe can start up an online shop.

Yeah I've learned my lesson. I usually always stick to forum supported/reputable dealers or vendors and this is what happens the one time I stray away. I'll keep everyone posted on what happens.

Did you charge it on your credit card? Dispute that mess.

I usually stick with people I can either bitch out in person or on a forum where their reputation is at stake.

They tend to work harder to please you that way, it works out better for everyone

Not to rub it in but you can buy the filter from Northridge Toyota (a vendor here) for $35 shipped...much cheaper than anywhere else.
