over heating with new radiator

over heating with new radiator, but not when thermostat in? water pump is good, and does not look like head gaskets are leaking, has anyone had this same problem? oh yeah the engine is the 5vz-fe

new radiator cap too? sometimes an old one will not seal right with new radiator, keepign system from pressurizing correctly...

yeah all new. took the water pump off and there is no blokage in the block.

I would agree: Air in the system, Bad Rad Cap, Bad Thermostat.

Could also be a bad/soft lower rad hose that is collapsing.

Did you buy the new radiator hoping to fix the overheating? or was it some other issue?

yeah hoping to fix the problem, and it was indeed stoped up, my temps have dropped and now it does not reach opperating temperature as quickly, but i did put the new oem thermostat and then it over heats, i am narrowing it down to a faulty water pump, it made a wierd noise today.
