Talking Operation Sparkling Wiggles - The Debage Chronicles

After taking all my emblems off a while back I finally found some time to get them sanded down, primered, painted, and clear coated.. I went with DupliColor T90 Universal Metallic Black (on sale, big can for $2.50 ) and then just some DupliColor Best Finish clear coat. I used 3M's liquid adhesive to put them all back on. That stuff is tricky and really sticky so you have to take your time putting it on the backs, it will eat the paint right off. I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome. I changed it up just a tad instead of putting the 'Toyota' back in the lower right I stuck it under the middle symbol. The pics don't do justice to how sparkling this paint really is. I didn't get around to getting the front emblem off but I will. Speaking off, how does that big sucker come off anyways? Well, hears the pics, tell me what yall think.

Waldz

Nice job, looks great! I like where you moved the little "Toyota" to. The front emblem is screwed to the grille from behind so don't pry on it from the outside. The grille was kind of a b!t*h to get off because I would unclip one side and the other side would lock itself back in place. I finally got the sucker off but broke most of the clips so I just zip tied it back on and it doesn't rattle now so I'm happy.

Thanks.. I stepped back, took a look, and thought it would just be odd having that one emblem down there by itself with nothing on the opposite side to balance it out. Ive felt weird about that ever since seeing it stock that way. So I figured a change would be nice and it gives it an even flow.
Thanks for the heads up about the front emblem.. can't believe I have to take the frikkin grille out gahlee!!
