OME's on the way
Well I went for it! I ordered OME shocks, coils, and a diff. drop kit from Mike at Xtreme Off-Road. Now I'm just counting the days till it all gets here!

Oh yeah, I just read it. No problem. I had some confusion over differences in part numbers between a few different sources. I talked it over with Mike before I placed the order and got it all straightened out.

I went with the following:
Front:
N91s shocks (firm)
OME882 coils (HD)
Rear:
N82 shocks (firm)
OME891 coils (HD)
I went with the HD's instead of the medium 881's up front because I'm not ruling out an ARB bumper at some point down the line.

You'll have to let me know how much lift you got- I just bought the OME HD springs and comfort shocks for the rear, but can't make up my mind about the front. What did the diff drop cost you?

Just to make sure I understand this, the diff drop kit keeps your CV angles closer to the stock angles, to avoid damage by more severe angles caused by the lift?
Also- do you know with the OME setup in the back whether you have to worry about extending brakelines or anything?

Sorry, no spring compressor. If you some extra hands let me know, although, I've never done anything like that.
You can probably get a spring compressor from autozone for free.

Yep, that's correct on the diff drop. I highly doubt I'll need to do a brake line extension. People with OME's have replied to that issue before, and they all have said (at least in the posts I could find) that a brake line extension isn't necessary.

I'm not sure about the stock skid plate with the drop diff kit. Were you out of slack when you replaced the brake line? Most people have said that they had plenty of slack as it was, but some have replaced it to give even more slack for "extreme articulation". It doesn't sound too difficult though, and may be another piece of "insurance".
Have you also done the PanHard drop and/or the e-brake bracket?

- No but during off roading I got out and checked with one coil extended and one coil compress and it looked close so at first I just bought another toyota rear brake line {rubber} and screwed the two together and then later replaced with the stainless braided. I just wanted to be sure.

- No, I'm going to buy the parts to make a longer panhard bar from www.spridertrax.com so I don't have to weld on the frame or anything, it's going to cost around $110 for the parts and shipping.

- Yes, I just took a 4 inch piece of metal strap, drilled two holes about 2.5" apart and bolted the loop bracket dealy to it and then used the stock bolt to bolt the other end to the bracket on the housing.
