i just posted a question about 4cyl performance. can it be achieved? would appriciate some info.

Yes it can be done.
Not to kill the mood or anything, but it is generally not a good idea to start a new thread to promote an old one, especially since the original one is only an infant, so to say.
If you feel like your other thread has lost attention, just post a "bump" message to it to bump it to the top of the section and attract new readers.
