O2 sensor problem, What to do?

Ok, Lets give a little background into the situation.

In persuit of my rough idle problem and trying to fix it I figured maybe a new oxygen sensor would help, and if it didn't... well it needed replaced anyway. I had a heck of a time getting the sensor off, bolts stripped by previous owner. That took me about two hours (bolt extractor things suck, taking them back to autozone for a refund monday). Got it off, wired it up and put the new one on with stainless steel hardware. It leaked, so I took it off scraped it the best I could then put it back on, still leaked. Took it off again, while I'm putting it back on one of the studs broke off.

Here is my question. How do I fix this and get it not to leak?

Option 1: Go buy a pacesetter header (http://store.summitracing.com/partde...SM%2D70%2D1183) from summitracing, has a new pipe with a new bung, and have it here in two days and put it on this weekend.

Option 2: Go to an exhaust shop and see if they can fix it somehow.

Option 3: Maybe the pipe from my 2wd with the o2 sensor on it would fit and maybe not leak. Can anyone confirm this, I am searching the forums at the moment also for a solution.

I really need about the easiest cheapest way to get it done. I don't want to half the situation, I want to do it right. At the moment I got it bearable with one of the bolts on and a hose clamp holding the other side, I don't like rigging stuff and want to get it done soon. I'm having enough problems with my headunit going out on me also. How much am I looking at for an exhaust shop to fix it if anyone could guess for me so I can weigh my options.

The nicest way to do it would be to get the header.

The cheapest is probably to drill out the stud yourself and reinstall it but I doubt it will seal right.
The exhaust shop will likely be the least headache for you but may be $$$$$.

If the O2 sensor is not mounted in the head but on the mid pipe like in the pic, I would look at replacing the mid pipe. Look in a junk yard muffler shop could make you one.

See I was thinking something along the same lines. I have a 2wd parts truck but I'm not sure if the mid-pipe would work on my truck. I'll have to get out there later on today or tomorrow and pull it off the parts truck to see if it would fit. But there is the problem again of me trying to get it to seal.
