have a 97 4runner with 100,000 miles... about 20K miles ago I started noticing a noise transmitted from the rear hatch when going over bumps... funning thing is that it gets worse in colder weather... now there is a noise coming from the rear door/seating area also when going over bumpy roads...

Does anyone have a cure for the rear hatch noise? Will replacing the rear hatch bumpers help?

Just a thought do you have a cargo cover? sometimes this rattles and some felt tape can fix it.
