No Spark

My 87 4Runner 22RE won't start. I've tested virtually everything, and I'm still stumped. I've gone through the procedures in the FSM, and still nothing, so I turn to the knowledge of the members. I've replaced everything from the igniter to the engine, including the igniter itself. I continue to get no spark, and now seem to not get power to the igniter itself. I've checked all fuses under the driver's kick panel, and replaced the EFI relay. The starter cranks, I get fuel, just won't bite and turn over. ANy other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a though one. Did you check the plug to your distributer? Only thing I can think of.

No spark from the coil to the distributer either. Pretty frustrating.

You need to get yourself a wiring diagram and a multimeter.
It should be pretty easy to see where there is no power or a lack of ground.

maybe try running a hot wire to the coil and see if it fires. worst case just run that off a toggle switch--think of it as a theft deterrent device if you hide the switch.
