285 wont fit???
I was told today at 4wheel parts after they tried to mount them that these 285s wouldn't fit on my '05 4x4 4Runner. They told me even with fender mods it would bottom out? I have a 3" revtek lift and 18x8 with 4.5" offset/backspace -Procomp 7028s????? What did you do cut the body??

285's do fit..there are lot's of people on here running them. I did in a TOYO MT on my stockies and did minor grinding of UCA's and minor interior fender trimming. However, I cannot speak for your year Runner. It sounds like you have sufficient lift.....
I also ran an MT tire on 18's that were 33's also and they didn't bottom out, just minor rub in the same places the 285's did.
