newly rebuilt 22re won't start

I can't get my newly rebuilt 22re to start. I've checked the spark and there's gas at the main fuel hookup. I'm not really sure what to check from this point on. I'm wondering if the injectors need to be primed somehow but the factory manual doesn't mention anything about that. Any ideas?

What kind of noise does it make when you turn the key? Also you might want to check the starter.

Thanks,
Mario

The engine turns over fine. It's definitely not related to the starter. The start up sound is normal except that the engine just won't catch.

You might try the fuel pump test jumper to let the fuel pump run with the ignition. Leave it on for a while to get the fuel lines filled:

Check your distrubuter make sure it is not 180 out and also that the cam is not off, double and triple check both of those, they can be a booger.

Maybe try spraying some carburetor cleaner in the intake while cranking it. If it fires a little then you know that it is definitely fuel related.
