Well, the double cab is supposed to be around $40k. Considering that the craftsman truck there is an actual NASCAR racing truck, it probably won't be available for sale. You could have one built, but it'll be in the six figure price range.

nope, at least the Craftsman Truck isn't old news. It was officially announced today that Toyota will be in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series next year. They didn't name any drivers yet. I think they will do really well. I can't wait until they get into The Winston Cup Series, or what ever it will be called by that time.

Definitely not old news.....any word on the release date of the 4-door? I've been waiting for that model to replace my Runner.
Hmmmmmm.....$40k for the truck and $5K for the S/C........I think I can make it happen!!!

Lets not forget all the 3rd, 2nd and 1st gen owners who are gonna swap in the 4.7L V8 and new 4.0L V6 from the 4th Gen 4Runner, but now the 4th Gen owners can try swapping in the 5.5

Both Tundras look pretty good, I just wonder who is copying who...
then the tundra came out and ford tried to sue toyota for using the similar design curves as their f-series...
so the way i look at it, if ford originally dubbed their f - series from the t100, and you know that the tundra is a evolution of the t100, then it must be that the current f-series is a copy of the tundra... so makes sense that even though it might look like the tundra is copyin the f-series, isn't it really the other way around?
just to ass some chaos! hehe
but in the end, you know that even though both truck may look alike, the TOYOTA will definitely kick the living daylights out of any other fullsize truck. i mean for the price u can't get something better than that .... also reliability issues come in to play... buying toyota will guarantee that it will outlast any other big 3!!!
i think everyone will attest to that much! now if you start lookin at the larger full size then the tundra is nothing but you know that they're working on it! hehe
