When I posted about your lift I was just using it as an example. I love the look of your 4runner and can appreciate the things you have done to it, like i said I wheeled for a number of years, I just dont have the time for it now.

MLT. I got the front bumper from a guy on the board here for 275. I paid 460 for the grille from jason b and the clear corners are 74.99 from jason and the bumper clears are 49.99. The hood was 130 then another 140 for the 3 scoop pieces. Then you just need to get it painted

I know bro. My point was simply to say that we all have opinions and I wouldn't care in the least if you thought my truck was the biggest POS ever. If you love my truck or hate it, its mine and I dig it.

Oh and for anyone that wants it, I have my stock color matched bumper still sitting in my garage. That would be so cool if someone came and bought it off me. It has the factory fog lights and everything. Is 100 bucks a fair price? If someone give me $100 I'll give them my bumper and a huge thank you for getting it the heck out of my garage...

I think if you post a pic on a public forum then expect a little criticism and 44 critique was mild compared to other boards I'm on.

44 states that the truck is "ricey" and actually it is if you go by the import definition of "rice" which is anything added that does not do anything for performance or hampers performance. Clear lenses, wings, grilles, stickers are all part of this. I'm not saying some rice bad as I have clear lenses which obviously are solely for looks.
I think a better term is *bling* items plus the truck in question is 2wd so it's just for looks and sound which isn't bad and it's his toy to show off.
I think it's worse to see a 2wd Runner "pretender" with a big lift, off road tires, brush guard, etc. when you can't even drive it in the snow much less off road but that's my opinion so don't flame me.

I do think it's bad if you take any real 4WD truck (especially H2s) and put 20 inch wheels or lower it since that just ruins what the vehicle is intended for, kinda like dulling a hunting knife or shooting a gun with blanks in it.

I agree man. I would have not done a lot of things I've do to my car if it was 4wd. First off i would have gotten an Arb instead of that grille, not to mention lift. Since mine is 2wd, im just trying to make it look nice. Maybe later down the road when I have more cash I can have both a 2wd and a 4wd 3rd gen.

I like the styling a lot, I have a 2nd gen that is meant for offroad but still has its flashy street style, best o both worlds, But i definately like the way you have done yours, that color is awesome i have never seen it before.

You should think about mounting some Piaa driving lights behind that grille. and what else have you done to your interior, thought about a blue dash light change liek wildbill??
