New Mod

Alright, this was just a quick mod I did seeing as I had time (and a ticket  )

Decided to put the 2001 style lights on...I think I like it a lot better than the clears. The clears were alright in the beginning, however, as time went on I disliked them more and more!! These were a simple install, need a new harness as the 2000 and previous is different, however, the new harness plugs right in

What year is that bad boy?

I want to put the newer lights on my '97, so I'll need a new harness then too I guess, right?

Mike. No offense but the clear tail lights really didn't do anything for your rig. Your rig is bad ass and to put the clears on made it look too ricey.

The 01 tail lights are a 100% improvement.

In fact it just may convince me to finally purchase the 01 lights for my rig as well.

No offense taken...I really was hating those clears....felt like I should have sat on 20's......no offense to anyone who has 20's we all have our own taste!!

I appreciate the compliments!!

Those lights do look pretty sharp. I think you might have triggered a run on the tail light assemblies. The dealers won't know what hit them.

I agree with you on the clears. I thought about putting them on my truck. The longer I considered it, the less it sounded like a good idea. Reading this thread finished the decision. No clears for me.
