I just ordered a new clutch and have a few questions. It is a 1991 4x4 pickup with 22re.

What are the Preventive Maintence things I should do when I have the trans out? (rear main, etc..).

My truck has 122,000 on it should I replace the timing chain?

I also saw a very detailed post about the clutch install and I cant find it now, is there any DIY pages or does anyone know where to find this post?

I dont think you need to change your timing chain anyway, unless there is a problem associated with it.

Rear main seal, pilot bearing, t/o bearing, and flywheel resurface.

That's really it unless you see something else while you are in there.

 

where is a good place to buy the rear main?

Anybody know about the install post or any DIY pages?

Get the rear main from the dealer. Conicelli (sp?) I hear is pretty good. If you are going to do it yourself, I would get the FSM. I am unaware of any DIY pages.
