New battery?

Ok so now I need a new battery since my sucks.

I really wanna get an Optima, but from what I heard you need to make some alterations to get it to fit? Anybody's site explain what to do with this?

Also should I just go to autozone to get it? or should I try to order it online?

hey we just got a new one about a month ago, we had to extend one wire, move the ground wire, took me all of 10 minutes, the guy at advance auto part was cool, BUT im sure some one will chime in with a more detailed view... (thats why i love this board)

Keisur and I both did Optima Blue Tops within the past couple of months. I don't have any pics, but I'll bet Keisur does. Mine did not require any cable alterations (2nd Gen), but I think Keisur's did (3rd Gen)

The Blues are more durable (and expensive) - better for torturing.... Muhahahahaha

Aren't Blue Tops Marine batterys?

I have a Red Top and recomend getting a Yellow instead.

Mine is a little short, but some wisely placed pieces of plywood make it an easy fix.

By designation, yes. They are the same as the Yellow but more durable and vibration tolerant. Given that we wheel, the Blue seems to be a better option than the Yellow.

I guess me and Cebby could get one of those boat prop hitch receiver cover plugs so the Blue Tops would make more sense in our rigs.
