never ceases to amaze me...

so I brought the runner in to the stealer today to d&f the trans,( they wouldn't sell me the fluid, said only in bulk) anyways I'm in waiting room with the other customers as the diff. employees are coming up to them and telling them what else there car needs or what they recommend or found with there 5,000,000 pt. inspection, etc. etc., wondering what they are gonna try and sell me on with my 2000 runner with 320,000 miles on it, (pretty much all original everything but t/b service items) here comes my guy says "you're all set, looks like we're recommending a new air filter on your next visit", what a rip off, LoL, I'll do my own stinkin' air filter ha,ha, 4-Runner ftw! amazing

So you're upset they recommended an air filter on your next service?

Red face

It seems your not on a first name basis with the people at your dealer.

You need to remember most people at the dealer would not know the difference between a lug nut and a grease fitting.

let alone what other things they may need. i know if it was my Mother sitting there i would be glad they suggested anything

Every time I go to the dealership I end up talking to someone for 30 minutes and they usually start off by saying "when you gonna trade in that rig to so we can put it on our show floor." HAH, in their dreams!
