Neighbor interested in my truck

As I posted somewhere else - there aren't too many trucks around in Irvine. Those that are around are normally stock or pimped out. One of my neighbors showed great interest in my Tacoma as I was working on my grill today. He's suggested that if I ever wanted to sell...

hmmmm...

You throw on a new grill and suddenly the whole world wants your truck.

Good mod!

Got to talking to my neighbor last night.
I went over the modifications I have (and had in the past). I went over some of my damage and the recurring CEL. He's not too keen on the CEL but I've reassured him that it isn't a major thing.

He's thinking about test driving later. He's definitely digging the new front end

I got a note on the 4runner the other day... "call me when you want to sell this truck"
I thought it was an auto-wrecker but it turns out there's some UCI student who saw me drive around the area who's interested.

So let's see now... Tacoma for such and such amount... 1st gen for such and such amount = hefty downpayment on a new truck.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Where in Irvine are you. Any pics of your truck, I rarely see any modified toyota trucks around.

If you see an 02 Xcab with ARB and black wheels give a wave.

Well... if things go well you won't be waving at me if you see these trucks anytime after 2 weeks from now.

SOLD!
It was really sad seeing it go - ESPECIALLY after just finishing the Satoshi mod but I guess I'll be able to see it everyday since it's in the same parking lot.
