Need some Bed Dimensions

Whats up ya'll... I need to build a box for the rear of my truck to slide in the bed. I'm kinda slack at work this week so it would be th perfect ti,e to design and build... Problem is I can't get to my truck for a week or so. What I need to know is some dimensions on the bed.

I need

-width inside of bed rail to inside of bedrail
-width of the bed rail
-height of bed sides from bed floor to top of bed rail
-length from front to rear inside to inside
-length height and width of wheel wells
-and location of wheel wells

I seached and could not find any info on this... I was hoping for some kind of drawing like the one in the FAQ for the frames. If anyone has anything like this or would like to be a pal and go get it for me I would appriciate you posting it here. Thanks.

Yes... The american-domestic bed... Some people don't know which is which. It is a short bed and all I need know is the width.

there is no difference between the 4x2 and the 4x4 bed, however, in the second generation pickup, 84-88 the 4x2s had either the external bedrails or the domestic bed

72" Long (75" allowing room for edges) x 57" Wide (60" allowing room for edges) are the outer dimensions

the short bed from an 79-95 will actually bolt onto any frame

pics of an 84-88 truck with an 89-95 bed (not mine, i found the pics researching)
