Need Bilsteins for '02 Tacoma TRD...
A buddy of mine has an '02 TRD Tacoma and one of his rear shock has lost all the air. He obviously wants to replace it with the same exact shock. Where can he get 2 rear Bilsteins cheap? Does anyone know the part # for these shocks?

If these are the TRD Offroad package Bilsteins keep in mind that they ARE different than the aftermarket Bilstein HD's for your truck. I'd imagine that you'd probably have to buy the TRD Bilsteins from some sort of Toyota dealer or affiliated parts place where as the aftermarket Bilsteins I'd imagine you could order them from anyone who specializes in shocks. Most people I've talked to said that the Aftermarket Bilstein HD's are a definate improvement in overall ride quality over the TRD Bilsteins. I'd have a look for the HD's myself now that your friend has the oppurtunity to get new ones.

I replace my oem Bils @ 150 miles
I was aware of the difference in the aftermarket HDs, since I had run a set on my '93 prior to buying the 04 TRD. The OEM shocks are smaller and much softer. Sold the OEM shocks on ebay for $115., even after the morons @ NTB chucked them in the dumpster and lost 1/2 the hardware (I told them I wanted to keep the OEMs). Definately upgrade if possible. The OEMs suck compared to the HDs.
