I have nothing against the ones that came on mine. They have lasted for about 5 years and are still working just fine and I try to spend about 3 days a week off road. My roads are all mountains and curves and the shocks get a real workout around here. Mike

i just put some pro comp es3000 on my rig, not a bad deal for the price. Good all around shocks, not too harsh, and the truck handles much better in the corners and the highway. I think i may need new leaf springs soon because of the lack of traction and wheel hop.

had some tokico trekmasters with a 2.5 spacer for about 100 miles. worst ride ever. major oscillations at slow speed over minor bumps. uncontrollable at medium speed over mild bumps. Switched to bilstein HDs best ride ever....

Well... I just purchased some Rancho RSX's for my cruiser coil lift (they were made for an f-150 but needed that kind for the length). I'll let you know how they handle... though I wouldn't really have any basis since I'm changing my rear coils also... hahahah... I'll still let ya know.

On my 3rd set of Bilstein HDs

Never had a problem with one in 20 years-the 1st 2 sets were sold with the vehicles (Toy 4x4 and '78 280Z)
