names of a few parts.

hey all,

i am not sure what the names of these parts are:

1. the pipe with the saucer on top of it that goes from the head to the back of the air chamber.
2. the sensor that plugs into the top of the thermostat housing.

thanks

1. EGR valve?
2. Coolant temp sensor?

Info on your vehicle or pictures will get you a long way.(I now see that it's a 86 Runner- We will assume its a 22Re?)

That would be the EGR valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)

That would be the coolant temperature sender.
