Well after putting a few hundred miles on my Taco ive found out that the drivers seat has a squeek to it. It is REALLY annoying. It sounds like the springs in the back of the seat are squeeking. Is there any way to fix this without taking it to a shop and having the seat taken apart and getting the springs replaced? Im thinking about just replacing the damn thing.


Let me add that im 5'5 and weigh 135-140lbs...the seat shouldnt even make a peep...

any advice would be great

take it to an upholstery shop and they can fix it for relatively cheap

 

Try tightening the 4 bolts that hold down the seat.
They may have loosened up.

 

if the toyota is a rocking don't come a knocking, or complaining. hahahahaha

i would say try to find out where it is coming from (like have a kid jumping up and down in it) then pull the seat and hit it with some grease or silicone spray. good luck

 

I pulled the seat when installing my amp and when i put it back in the squeek was magiclly gone.
