Just wanted to share the benefits of opening up my exhaust incase anybody cares.

I had a custom bent 2.5'' system w/ dynomax super turbo muffler installed last week on my 91 runner. It sounds pretty good and is barely noticable unless under heavy acceleration but rumbles pretty good when i'm into it. The biggest advantage has been the fuel consumption though. The old system had a few cracks and holes but otherwise in ok shape but i've gained at least 50 km per tank! No kidding. I say at least because i like the sound so i find myself driving it a little harder since the exhaust install.

Hope this can help anybody contemplating an exhaust system upgrade.

I'm in Calgary Ab. There's tons of gorgeous terrain in the mountains and foothills here. I've had so much fun in the snow with the runner so far, can't wait till muddy spring.

I used to live in Calgary back in the 80's. I was there the first year the Go-Train started up. Used to go to St-Mary's HS, downtown.

Dubkeith, did you make any other exhaust upgrades... like Headers? What about your Catalytic Converter?
