My new 01 Sport

My 2001 Sport with 38k miles, 6cyl auto 4x4. This is my first Toyota and so far I love it. I had an unfortunate accident in my Cherokee and it is no longer with us, and my fiance and I started looking at 4Runners and we found this one.

4Runner

Backseat drivers - Boone is the ˟˟˟˟-Tzu mix, and Bella is the Golden/Lab mix

My offroader (but I when my fiance gets a job, I would like to get a 99/00 4Runner with locker that I can lift and .....

Awesome runner, pretty fiance and those dogs are awesome. I really like Bella, I'm lookin around here at the shelters for another puppy, I'm getting to ready to get an apartment on my own before college so I'm wantin a dog...its so hard to chose just one. Thats a good one you have there though.

Nice find;I made sure my 2nd Runner was the Sport package since those seem to be the rare ones plus mine has the locker which was a must since my '97 didn't have one. Mine came with just a factory casette and it's driving me nuts but will have a CD player in tomorrow but it did have a Yakima Load Warrior basket,265/75 tires and limo tint all the way around.

Plus you got a very low mileage '01 so you won't be replacing anything anytime soon.

I wont say "Never", but I sure love my jeep. I bought it in 99 and have built it myself - ok ok, so I only built it from the transfer case down. Current specs are 6 cyl, 5 speed, high pinion D44 front, 8.8 rear, both with 4.88s, front has a lock-right, rear is an Eaton E-locker. Sprung over front with stock YJ springs, sprung under in the rear with Waggy front lift springs, Bilstein 5100s, better than stock roll cage - someday will be fully welded and tied to the frame, Mastercraft racing seats, 35" MTRs and 15x8 Classic IIs and some other odds and ends.

Thanks for the welcome. I am from Nashville. We got Boone from a shelter, and Bella came from a farm. A girl in my fiance's class lives on a farm, and one of their dogs had a litter of 16 puppies, and we got one. I have a friend who had a 99 4Runner, silver 4wd, and he totalled it when he drove it into a mudhole that was about 6-8 feet deep. It was nose deep and even got listed on wrecked exotics website. He always talked about it so much, and I never thought much about 4Runners, until I went and drove one after wrecking my Cherokee, and I loved it. So I might be a Jeep/Toy guy from now on
