I changed the muffler on my 98 4Runner Limited about 6 months ago at a chain muffler shop and it has sounded terrible ever since and getting worse. Can anyone tell me what muffler I could get that is nice and quite and fits like an OEM exhaust. By the way, I've priced and OEM exhaust at the dealer and they want $380.
Does that sound right? Am I stuck with having to buy an OEM muffler or does anyone have any "sound" (no pun intended) advice?
