Question More pictures??

I'm planning on getting my truck "dynamatted" although what they will be using isn't dynamat, something like it only lighter. I was wondering if you guys want some pictures, they said it was going to take all day, so I'm not sure if i'm going to have time to take plenty of pics, but i'll stick around for some maybe.......I'm hoping to do it soon, as soon as I get the money anyways. I always say this is the last thing I get for my 4runner, but I keep adding things on the way:pat:

Yeah, I would like to see some pictures. I think the installation of a Dymamat material is a good mod, especially if you plan on installing a good stereo system in your rig. If you can, take some pics. and see what you can do. Thanks! :fireman:

i'm pretty sure i'm not going to do any mods on my speakers, cuz none of them are stock anymore. Although I do have to get another deck, I want the Kenwood touchscreen, but I think i'll do damping first, it's cheaper. I can hear the music when i'm out of my car, and I like to keep it inside for me to hear.

Cool color. It sorta pops out at you. Nice ride! I like those blue turn signals on the dash and the silver bezel.

It's a mod created and written-up by butnut (available in the Yotatech Tech section):

Anyone know what kind of paint Butnut used to paint his instrument panel trim? Later.

Hi-temp silver. Generally used for things such as BBQ's.

Sleepy, Dynomating is a good idea. My runner has about 10 cases of dynomating. There's 10 rolls of dynomate in one case (about $2000 retail worth of dynomate). I put on about 3 gallons of spray dynomate undercoating under the truck. too. I also line the floor of the truck with foam and lead sheets from Cascade. So whats the result? The runner is quiet as a luxury car, but the gas mileage sucks!. Oh I also added a hood liner and replace the fan to a electric one( see my pictures). Everyone tell me that my runner is the quietest truck they rode in. I'll try scan some picture and post them. Oh, I didn't pay retail for all the stuff, most were given to me to try by the distrubutors, since I use to own a stereo shop. It's very important how the sound damping materials are installed. If not install correctly, they don't do anything to reduce noise.

yeah, I don't want it to cost a fortune, I might actually get my DVD screen set up first, seeing as how the dynamat might not be cost effective if I have them set it up. It would take all day to install it and it's too long to leave my car there
