That is my friend's(Jason) 4runner. He put a ton of money and time into that project. That rig is built right. You should see it in person. Everything has either been replaced or rebuilt. Beautiful truck and a heck of a price.

I was just reading about some of those over there when I clicked on the main link to show all 4Runners.
http://listings.ebaymotors.com/aw/pl....html?from=R11

Ran across this '91, and I like the logo they have in the picture.

It says:
The Toyota 4Runner is not another SUV... It's a way of life.
One of the most Legendary SUV's to Capture the Hearts of SUV Enthusiasts

The Toyota 4Runner is not just a SUV... It's a way of life. Time and time again the 4Runner has proving itself to be an affordable SUV that has outstanding off-road behavior as well as the luxuries of many sedans.
I think that pretty much sums up how I feel about them

he must be asking a lot for it.

its at 8,000 right now and the reserve isn't met yet. people looking for an 88 probably don't have the 10,000+ he's probably asking. know what i mean?

He is stationed overseas right now(Bahrain to be exact) and hasn't tried very hard selling it. He is actually having a friend store and advertise it while he is gone. His original asking price was $12K but I know he would sell it for around $10k... Still a good price for a fresh built truck. As soon as he got it together, he got orders....

I know he has been trying to sell it for over a year but he has just now gotten serious about it. I think he was dreaming when he was asking $20k. Now he is seriously trying to get rid of it. If you go over to the www.tacomaterritory.com boards you will see that he has asked $10k - $12K in some of his posts...

That is an awesome truck, the only thing I can see that I'd wanna change about it is that it has no tach.. but I could live with it for a while hehe...

btw, why does he want to sell it?

He originally wanted to take it with him to Bahrain and had it shipped over. However, it didn't meet their DOT specs and they wouldn't register it, so he was unable to drive the beast. So, he shipped it back to Md. and Scott has been watching it for him ever since. I think he is going to be there for a long time and its killing him not being able to wheel it, so he just wants to sell..... There are probably some other reasons, I'm not sure...
