Which Monroe Rear Shocks For My 2000 ?
My 2000 4X4 Taco has "Quick-Struts" (apparently made by Monroe) on the front - installed by the prior owner. The rears look to be factory originals. The truck has 125,000 miles so I want to replace the rears.
I know a lot of people tout Bilsteins, but I don't know if I can justify the cost. I notice at least 3 Monroe part numbers (37112, 37113, 37114) that fit this application. But it is not clear to me what their differences are. I see things like different bushing size, different length of travel etc. in the specs.
My truck is an SR5 Extended Cab with the 3.4 6 cyl. No mods. Use is almost all highway or on maintained gravel roads. Do any of you guys have experience with these Monroe shocks? Or have any other thoughts?
Many thanks.

I agree. I'm confused though by the different Monroe part numbers. Unfortunately the Monroe application guide on their web site is no help.

It looks like 37113 & 37114 are right and left applications that you need 1 of each. The 37112 is a both side application that you need 2 of. Do the Tacos of that vintage have lean issues because of the gas tank or something? I had cheapo Monroes on one of my trucks for awhile. They were fine for what they were and for general all around use. Good luck.

It looks like 37113 and 37114 are the ones. I did get them to come up on the Monroe site. And I called the local Toyota parts desk. They also show 2 different pn's. So the Toyota parts list that I have must have been amended since it was published.
I'm ordering from an eBay seller (good prices!).
