There are SOOO many factors involved. Change the oil every 3k miles, timing belt every 90k, change coolant every 2 years, and don't abuse the truck, and it should last every bit of 300k or more.

Just put 180k on my 97' this weekend. I was at TOyota the other day and the parts manager laughed,"It's just a baby..you're barely breaking it in!!!" LOL Like said before, take care of your Yota and it'll definately take care of you.

a friend of mine has 350K miles on his 96 4runner and it still purs like a kitten. and other than normal work he has never had a problem with any part of it except a $15 heater valve.

They will last and last if you take care of them.

Oh there are a few that will last longer but is he was to sell it you know that it would end up haveing the timing belt break, the brakes go out, and the radeaitor would go out as soon as the other gut drove it away!

This is what has happened to 2 people i know and even to me once. Murrphys law in action.
