well everyone i finally got off my butt to install my mile marker hubs . ran into a couple of problems:
first off , mile marker uses a square washers instead of the cone washers and unfortunatly my wheels are such a tight tolerance that the square washers stick out too much and im running to the store to get some regualr lock washers :
next problem i found was the center bolt and washer combo arent long enough to reach where its supposed to go( some of you have a c clip mine has the bolt , at first i didnt think i needed it , but i got smart and called mile marker and was informed that its needed , and he told me youll have to put washers behind it to create a spacer so the big out side washer doesnt get sucked into the center , so its off to the store ( luckily i have a roomate with a rig to get to and from )

all and all when it finally gets done i think its going to look good and will work great .

if i hadnt gotten such a good dea lon the mile markers i think i would have search for some aisin hubs , although i may have ran into the same spacer problem , the guy at mile marker said its a typical problem with most after market hubs and such becuase of different axle types and sizes , and seeing how the t-100 never came with manual hubs it probably would have been the same thing.

yes david , they are on . just had a couple of bolt problems , but its al lgood now , those square washers were a pain , so i got some regular lock washers and the depth of the spindle was deep compared to normal hubs so i had to get a longer axle shaft bolt , al ltold it cost like $5 for washers and bolts no biggie .

all good and they even look good

i have mile markers, they work great. i don't know how tuff they are, but for what i do (mostly snow in winter). they are the best bang for the buck unless you find some cheap aisins, i think i got mine for $60 + shipping from autozone, i had to order them online though cuz autozone in my town wanted $105 for them , now figure that one out???

 

after finally getting out and doing a little driving , im impressed at how different my truck drives with the front unlocked , it feels like its easily to steer , and my gas gauge hasnt moved yet .
