i bought a 81' 5 months ago from a little asain guy i paid $200 fot the thing i thought it was a great deal for a stright axel that runs like a sculded dog he also said he put a cluch in it. so i paid him and i left. During the 8 mile trip home the star gear got riped off the starter by the flywheel. The cluch would not disengage allthe way when i pushed the pedal in. then friday night i could not stop in gear so i went home and the next day i looked at and the tranny was about 1 in from the block held on by one bolt i took the tranny off and descoverd lots of stuff that was broke (cluch plate 3 pecies)( 4 bent fingers on pressur plate) lots of other stuff i will have pics soon :wtf:

 

Yikes! You better go over that thing with a fine tooth comb to see what other shoddy repairs might have been to it and what other critical parts are about to fall off.
