Longest tread life???

I have searched yotatech and many other sites all over the web. In the mud terrain arena, which tires are gonna have the longest tread life?

Your spare tire? It is really hard to say because a lot depends on the terrain the tires are driven over, the truck itself, the driver, etc.

Over 40k odometer miles on my MTR's, but then you need to deduct the time I ran my BFG's probably about 4K total, then add a correction to the odometer.... 82 MTR miles on the odometer = 100 actual. They are still street legal, but not good enough to use offroad, so by next week they will be replaced, got a new set in my garage.

the only thing bad about mtr's i have heard is that their tread life isn't that good, but it looks like thats not true. I am between bfg muds, goodyear mtr's, and pro comp xterrains or muds, and maybe dunlop muds. Off-road performance, loudness and such i dont really care to pick at, I am more looking fro treadlife. I wanna get my moneys worth, not out to win any tournys.

MTR's or BFG's are good...the rubber is a little harder on the MTR's, but with either one you will be happy...i've never been impressed with procomp...I personally run BFG AT's but thats me...

It's too bad Michelin doesn't make a Mud Tire. Michelin is the king of treadlife in pretty much every other tire category.
