Little after work runs are fun!
Hey guys I got out of work a little early today so I decided to go and try out my new maps that show public byways here in Britian. Basically they are the very few places you can actually drive legally. I found a couple of pretty cool roads while out doing some exploring. Here's a pic
Now's here like a little unformal poll. How many of you think I should get some gloss black Bushwhackers for my truck? I can't picture what it would look like. Is anyone real good on paint that could maybe superimpose them on my truck? All this mud was from just driving slowly down dirt roads. I didn't even put it in 4WD and didn't spin the rear tires much at all. Most of it come from the 3/4" of BFG's sticking out beyond the fenderwell with my 15X8" wheels. Anyhow let's here what you have to say about how black bushwhackers would look with my Chrome pushbar and stuff. I'm all ears.

I say go for it.
Besides my Downey HD coils, the Bush's are two of my favorite mods to date.

Do It!
Do the flares - definitely!! Gloss Black? IMHO, your rig will look alot like Corey's. I dig how his looks - nice and clean!
Have you thought about getting them and painting them to match the body? I'm likely going to do that with mine. I've seen it on a few trucks around town and it makes it look like they are "factory".
Either way, you'll like how much more aggressive it makes your 4R look.

I've had a couple of those quick little runs after work, turn into three hours of digging my truck out the mud.
About two months ago, my wife sent me the grocery store, and I couldn't help but go explore a new construction site. To make a long story short, it been raining for about a week before this, and I ended up finding a newly laid water line. I sunk nose first into the mud. The mud almost came onto the top of the hood. I had to climb out the back right door because I was stuck so far into it. I took my sisters 4runner, and a jeep wrangler to pull me back out of the mess.

So I guess you never made it to the grocery store? Does the wife now go instead? I can totally see that happening. I've do the same sort of stuff, just lucky to have not gotten stuck!!

I've done things similiar to that three times now, and my wife is always giving me a hard time about not sending me to the grocery store because she'll have to come after me to dig me out.
Its so hard to resist fresh mudd. I think there's nothing sexier then fresh mudd on a black truck. I love coming home and leaving mudd tracks all the way across the parking lot to where I live. I'm sure the neighbors hate it, but who cares. I Like it...
