lights seem to be a little dull
i've noticed my lights aren't as bright as others and they dont seem to light up the road as much as i would like them to. my fog lights broke (water and electricity dont mix) and i dont have my TJM T15 yet so i cant throw on some front driving lights or fog lights... im might just replace the bulbs for something brighter... any thoughts or ideas would be awesome! thanks again. oh and possibly some pics

Lots of people hear like the GE Nighthawks or The Sylvania Silverstars. I don't actually have any of them in my truck but I put a set of Silverstars in my mom's van and I love them. There a lot brighter. onlt had them for about 3months so I can't say much about durability.

Before you purchase Silverstars, you should check out Danielstern.com and see what he has to say about any of the blue, purple, etc. coated lights. Very good info and he debunks all the hype about all the so-called brighter bulbs on the market and tells which ones are really worth anything. I bought a set of Silverstars for my Dodge Ram pick-up recently and was at all not impressed. I'm fact, I think my original standard halogens are stronger! If I have the link wrong, you can get it from the 4crawler web site. Too bad I didn't read that info stuff before buying!
I posted a similar question last week and got lots of answers and info. Not sure how to direct you to it, but here's the browser link for it: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/h4-halogen-bulbs-anyone-using-these-stock-wiring-106334/

I had Silverstars also, but got tired of replacing them every year or so (no drl here). Do a search here on Wagner I think some Yotatechers have hed a little better luck with them.

I also have the Silverstars in my headlamps and they're still going after 2 years and when they do go I'm considering the new Silverstar Ultras which are about $40/pair at Wally Mart.

you could throw some hella 500's right on the stock front bumper, i did and they are super bright (however tough to use them when other cars are around). I mostly use them offroad and on dark back roads where there isn't much traffic. there is a writeup in the tech section and they look sweet.

I would recommend first checking the voltage at the back of the headlights (while they are on) to make sure that is not the source of the dim headlights (it often is). If the voltage is low, light output (and lifetime) will be greatly reduced and even a high buck bulb won't make it much better:
