Good to know. I'll try that for sure.

That's what I've read, too. They are in such demand that places are taking advance orders for them so they can meet it. I'm either getting a set of those, the European version of the Silverstar, the Osram (no comparison between it and the US versions), or the IPF Magic J. Waiting to see what the budget will allow first.

I'm trippin' on all this talk about Silverstars being so good. If everybody would read some of the good info out there on current lighting technology and good bulbs vs bad bulbs, I think the Silverstar popularity and hype would "burn out" pretty quickly. I know, I own a set, unfortunately!

I have the silverstars and they are way brighter than my old ones. Check around though... I swapped the sealed beams in my 90' 4Runner for the hella's which were like the new style. Then I found bulbs for $9 a piece at Baxter's Auto Parts that were 90W low beam with 130W high beam. They were incredible and illegal but they were aimed right and I never had a problem. However I haven't been able to find them again. Make sure you stay away from cheap/flashy bulbs that say equivalent Watts... as they tend to not be any good.
