License Plate bolts

ok guys..my license plate got stolen or fell out...anyone know the size of the bolt ill need??

My rear bolts are 10mm. The front just has some generic sheetmetal screws for the plastic.

He needs the thread size/pitch, not the size socket you use...

I dunno what it is BTW, but I know I use a 10mm socket to get them off.

metallica,

when some scumbag stole my rear plate, i had to buy some new screws. i just went down to the autoparts store and bought a set of allen head screws that was packaged as "theft resistant license plate bolts." I think it will just slow down the thief, not prevent it.

anyways, the thread/pitch all seemed to be identical so thats why i just grabbed that one.
